Crackle offers apps for both iOS and Android, making it easy to watch on the go

When you’re ready to watch the latest movies, TV shows, and other content online, Crackle is an excellent choice. The free service is available on desktop, mobile, and streaming devices. The service was formerly known as Grouper and Sony Crackle. It was first launched in 2004 and was bought by Sony Pictures in 2006. In 2006, it changed its name to Crackle. Eric Berger served as the general manager of Crackle from 2008 until his departure in 2019.
It also has a selection of stand-up specials from famous comedians, including Martin Lawrence, Eddie Griffin, Joey Coco Diaz, and Doug Stanhope. Unfortunately, Crackle doesn’t have many kids’ shows, but there is plenty for older viewers to enjoy. Some of the best kid-friendly programs are Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Jack and the Beanstalk, and The Smurfs. For older children, there are animated shows such as Marvel Anime, Robotech, and Men in Black: The Series.
Another great feature of Crackle is its user interface. Much like Netflix for Android, its interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. The Home screen shows featured content and main navigation buttons take you to Shows, Movies, and your personal Watchlist. Crackle offers apps for both iOS and Android, making it easy to watch on the go. If you don’t want to download an app, you can access the Crackle website and stream content without a subscription.
